Although suitable for everybody, it is targeted to people who suffer from back pain, discomfort in neck, shoulder, sacroiliac, hip and knee joints and conditions such as multiple sclerosis (MS). The Pilates method aims to restore balance to the body and improve functional movement patterns.It helps to align the body, improve balance, mobility, flexibility, muscle strength and coordination. Joseph Pilates method addresses that when the body is properly aligned and breathing is to the optimum, health is the result.

Has been developed over 10 years. It is a contemporary approach to the original Pilates format. The research has fine tuned the original exercise’s making them more ‘functional’ for the modern day client, helping to strengthen, tone, increase flexibility and aid mobility. Fitness Pilates has also been developed to include many extra dimensions including functional training, the use of soft mini balls, bands, weights and sequencing. Like all group exercise, Fitness Pilates can be taught in many different levels to suit all age ranges and abilities. (Conditions apply)
